The principle of the coal-gas gasification

 Continuous gas gasifier adopt coal with 20-80 mm size as ideal fuel, when the coal was fed into furnace by adding coal scuttle, after met the gasification agent (air and water vapor) by bottom drum charging into, which make coal and water vapor reacted, formed the flammable gas such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen, thus which reach a state of complete gasification, steadily make gas continuously. The material layers are formed a five stages from bottom to top: ash layer,oxide layer, reduction layer, retorting layer, dry layer.
Blasted the gasification agent, passing the slag layer firstly, and preheating on this layer, when the gas are rise into the high temperature fuel layer, carbon and oxygen generating the following reaction: 2 C + O = 2 co + Q 2 co + O2 = 2 C02 + Q C + O = C02 + Q
Several reaction is exothermic reaction, temperature is very high, this layer called oxide layer.
The heat generated in the oxide layer continue to rise,with the upper fuel contacting, resulting in a reduction reaction, main restore layer reaction:
C02 + C = 2 CO - Q C + H2O = C02 + 2 H2 - O C + H2O = CO + H2 - Q
Times reduced layer is mainly used to generate carbon monoxide and excess water vapor. CO + H2O = C02 + H2 + Q
Besides,the generation of methane side reaction: C+2H2=C04+Q
The hot gas have rosed in the reduction zone,heating the upper coal steam,form the dry distillation and drying layer.
Dry distillation of volatile organic can be evaporated under the physical thermal effect of the rising heating gas,meanwhile, the water in the dried layer can be dried completely through this same heating.
